International students must:

Be at least 18 years of age.
Have completed at least the equivalent of Year 12.
Have an IELTS Academic score of 6.0 (or equivalent), with test results no more than 2 years old.
Complete a Core Skills Check. Note: Applicants identified as at risk will be required to complete a full LLND assessment and a Course Pre-Entry Review (including an interview where required) to confirm their suitability before enrolment.
Have access to a computer or laptop with a reliable internet connection, webcam, and microphone, to complete online learning, assessments, and Learning Management System (LMS) requirements.

Applicants do not need to provide IELTS (or equivalent) results if they can provide documented evidence of either:

Completion of at least 6 months of a Certificate IV level course at an Australian RTO, or
Successful completion of a QIBA English Placement Test.

Note: Other recognised English tests (e.g. PTE Academic, TOEFL) can be accepted. Applicants must provide their results so equivalence to IELTS Academic 6.0 can be confirmed.

Students successfully completing the course will receive the BSB50420 Diploma of Leadership and Management.

The BSB50420 Diploma of Leadership and Management is intended to prepare students or recognise and develop existing workers who are performing a range of management or specialist roles in a Leadership and Management environment.

This qualification is transferrable across many industries, as it teaches transferrable Leadership and Management skills.

Course delivery is through classroom-based face-to-face learning at the Campus locations for 14 hours per week. This is tailored for theoretical and practical training sessions by means of simulated workplace environments and group activities. An additional 6 hours of online learning is delivered through QIBA online learning platforms ZOOM and Learnbook (Moodle) thus comprising of a total of 20 hours of training delivery per week.

QIBA offers Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) and Credit Transfers to students with existing qualifications or skills, knowledge and experience. The granting of course credit may affect course fees, as well as the duration of the course. Please contact us to receive further information.

Assessment for this qualification may include written reports, case studies, projects, role plays, oral questioning, case study analysis, demonstration, presentation written assessments and third-party reports as well as portfolios of evidence and workplace reports.

Students must demonstrate competence across all tasks of Assessment to achieve Competence in the unit.
