Course Delivery
Course delivery is through classroom based theory as well as tailored practical training sessions by means of simulated workplace environments and group activities. This is in order to develop the knowledge and foundations required to undertake business services-based work or information and communications technology work and to prepare for and practice dealing with, situations that arise in business services and I.T. settings. Units of competency in these courses can be delivered as standalone or clustered units.
Assessment
The assessment process includes the gathering of evidence to demonstrate the student’s competence. Students are assessed using reports, projects, observation, presentations, role plays, written assessments, practical demonstrations and simulated workplace scenarios.
RPL / Course Credit
QIBA offers Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) and Credit Transfer to students through the enrolment process.
Completion
At the successful completion of the course students will be awarded with the “Testamur” and a “Record of Results” which provides detail of the Units of Competency completed in the course.
At the Partial Completion of the course students will be awarded with a “Statement of Attainment” which will detail only the Units of Competency that a student has achieved competency on in the course.
